DOUBLE RENDEZVOUS WITH THE LONGINES EEF SERIES 2022

After the thrilling start in Mannheim, the Longines EEF Series (LES) resumes this weekend (May 19-22) with shows held in Aalborg (Denmark) and Bratislava (Slovakia).

The doubleheader will see the first event for the LES Region North at Aalborg CSIO3* whilst the Bratislava CSIO3* will conclude the qualification rounds for the Region Central.

There will be ten teams competing in Denmark at the modern facilities of the Helgstrand Event. These teams represent Belgium, Finland, France, Japan, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Turkey and Denmark.

Aalborg hosted one of the legs in 2021 and it was Denmark itself that took the top honours. This year, however, the host nation will have to do battle with nine other teams determined to earn the first important points for the series. Germany’s Peter Schumacher has been appointed chef de piste.

Bratislava is making its debut on LES circuit, and this is the second leg for Region Central after the opening show in Mannheim. This means that this Nations Cup is the last chance for teams in this region to access one of the semi-finals.

The Longines EEF Series Bratislava 2022 Nations Cup will be held in Tyršovo, on the banks of the Danube, in one of the Slovakian capital’s most beautiful and famous locations. Italian chef de piste Uliano Vezzani will be building the courses.

The teams competing in Bratislava are Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland and Slovenia.

These two Nations Cups will both be held on Friday May 20th (Aalborg at 1 pm and Bratislava at 2 pm), and an interesting long-distance battle between the Nations participating in the Longines EEF Series 2022 can be expected.
