Seven horses have been put forward for the Longines EEF Series Horse of the Year, in association with the Jumping Owners Club.

The EEF and the Jumping Owners Club are proud to present the seven finalists for the Series Horse of the Year. The nomination process was open to all horses who had competed in at least two Longines EEF Series competitions (season 2024) and we are delighted to honour this group of well-deserving equine athletes.

In 2023 the award was won by Lord Mexx (GRE) and Angelos Touloupis, who has earned a place in the list again this year with his young ride Kannandillo. Lord Mexx impressed across the qualifiers last year and built his experience to go to take a historic spot at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Finals in Riyadh earlier this year.

We will be releasing in-depth profiles on each of our finalists over the next 7 days to let you know why each of these horses deserves to win.

The award is kindly supported by the Jumping Owners Club. Formed in 2004, they represent the views and opinions of the owners, and work closely alongside the FEI and EEF in building the profile and inclusiveness of Jumping. The Jumping Owners Club provides a platform for owners worldwide to share their common passion of equestrianism.

The final decision will be up to the public. The vote is now live and will remain open until Friday 16, 1800 CEST.  The winner will be announced at the Longines EEF Series Final in Warsaw in September.
