Secretary Generals Meeting Held

On Friday 4 August the annual Secretary General's meeting was held between the EEF and the Secretary Generals of our member federations.

The meeting is intended to draw attention to major issues and updates from the EEF and give all members an opportunity to feedback or share progress from their own federation for the benefit of others.

In this year's edition, the main topics focused on activity from the European Commission with potential new legislation and its impact on equestrianism, alongside insight from the French Federation on how they update and help their members access EU funding grants. Feedback from the members showed the funding area to be of particular interest and an area where assistance could be given as the process is notoriously tricky to get right. 

There was then an update on the EEF-led plans to offer new online officials and judges education in Dressage, Jumping and Eventing with plans to expand to all disciplines in the future. 

We look forward to welcoming many of the attendees at our General Assembly in September, where discussions can continue.
