Longines EEF Series heads to Lisbon

The Longines EEF Series (LES) 2022, after Mannheim, Aalborg and Bratislava now moves to Lisbon. The fourth leg of the series organised by the European Equestrian Federation (EEF) will be hosted by CSIO Lisboa, who this year is celebrating the centenary of its show, the oldest in the history of show jumping!

 

There will be nine teams competing in the Longines EEF Series Lisbon 2022, representing Belgium, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Spain, the United States, Italy – winner of the Longines EEF Series 2021 – and of course the home team Portugal.

 

The Lisbon Nations Cup for the 2022 Longines EEF Series is scheduled for Friday May 27th with the first round starting at 6 pm and the second at 9.30 pm. Portugal’s Bernardo Costa Cabral is the chef de piste.

 

Organised by the Sociedade Hípica Portuguesa, the Lisbon leg is part of the Region West group in the Longines EEF Series, which will see its second regional qualifier next week in Madrid.

                    

Meanwhile, this weekend saw the conclusion of Region Central’s qualification following events in Mannheim (May 6-10) and Bratislava (May 19-22) and Austria, Germany, the Netherland, Switzerland and Hungary have all qualified for the LES Semi-Final in Budapest (HUN) scheduled for June 30th – July 3rd.
