The European Equestrian Federation (EEF) is delighted to announce KEP Italia has become the official “partner for safety” for the Longines EEF Series.
KEP Italia are industry leaders in the design and manufacture of riding helmets, who pride itself on providing riders with the safest helmets in terms of technology, protection, quality, and innovation. Alongside the EEF, KEP Italia has a great interest in the sustainability of the sport and recognises their role to protect the sport's future, ensuring the next generation can access and enjoy equestrianism. Together this partnership will develop this important message, ensuring that safe practice is central to those involved in the sport now and in the future.
EEF President Theo Ploegmakers said; “We are excited to have KEP Italia as a partner. This shows the importance and strength of the Longines EEF Series, not only as an international competition but as a key development pillar for the future of the sport. It is a pleasure to work with a brand that fully aligns and understands our mission, and together we can build a strong future”.
Lelia Polini, CEO of KEP Italia said; “We are very proud to be partners in this new project with the aim of supporting today's professional riders, and the new generations of future champions with our helmets, capable of interpreting everyone's personality and style while guaranteeing the highest safety standards. 'Safety first' has always been our priority, design and comfort complete the key elements that are indispensable for us.”
The Longines EEF Series will start again in April with regional qualifiers across Europe before two semi-finals, leading to the final in Warsaw, Poland. The full calendar will be announced later this week. KEP Italia will showcase their products in person at a number of these events and award prizes to the best U25 riders during the regional qualifiers.

KEP Italia is a producer of riding helmets and was established in 2007, building on the passion of its founders, Lelia Polini and Bianca Collet-Serret. They aimed to research and produce more comfortable, safer and more innovative helmets than the ones currently available on the market, a goal that led them to explore and combine the best solutions in terms of design, technology, materials and safety.

Founded in 2009, the European Equestrian Federation (EEF) is the representative body for the European based National equestrian Federations. Working closely with the Federation Internationale Equestre (FEI) and the National Federations, the EEF works to maximize the potential and development of equestrianism throughout the continent. The EEF is committed to promoting the sport of equestrianism and its good practices, developing the sport across Europe, and providing leadership for a collective European voice in the sport.

The Longines EEF Series is a Nations Cup Competition that is designed to develop horses and riders through consistent exposure to quality events and team format competition, replacing the previously known Division 2 Nations Cup series. Run across 3* and 4*, the events focus on growing the breadth and depth of talent to bring more combinations to the highest level, from all nations in Europe. The EEF strongly believes that we can help safeguard the future of the sport by providing continuous development, which the Longines EEF Series works to provide.
