Gorla marks the end of qualifying shows in the Longines EEF series 2022

14. Jun 2022 / Category: Press Release

After inaugurating the Longines EEF Series in 2021, this year it is Gorla’s turn to host the last qualifying phase of the Series 2022.

The Nations Cup scheduled for Friday June 17th (starting at 11 am) will be the last of 8 regional qualifiers before we head for the two semi-finals in Deauville and Budapest followed by the final in Warsaw.

There will be eight nations competing in the Gorla Longines EEF Series Nations Cup at the Equieffe Equestrian Centre created by former international rider Emanuele Fiorelli. The teams competing are Belgium, France (the 2021 winner), Great Britain, Greece, Spain, Switzerland and the Italian hosts. As in 2021 the Chef de Piste will be Italy’s Andrea Colombo.

The event in Gorla, which is the qualifier for the LES Region South, will finalise the list of teams competing in the Budapest semi-final (June 30 -July 3). Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Hungary have already confirmed their place having qualified from the region central.

The ten teams from Regions North and West that will compete in the Deauville Semi-finals (June 23-26) are also confirmed as Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
