Draw of the starting order for the Longines EEF Nations Cup Gorla 

 

The first leg of the Longines EEF Series was officially opened with day one of the CSIO3*. The draw of the starting order in the late afternoon was also the first official act of the long-awaited Longines EEF Nations Cup Gorla.

Chefs d’Equipe from the eleven participating teams watched as the draw for the starting order took place this afternoon. The first team to enter the arena tomorrow will be Great Britain, followed, in order, by Argentina, France, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain. Italy, the host nation, will be tenth, with Slovakia taking the final round.

EUROPEAN EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION
The EEF (European Equestrian Federation) was founded in 2009 with the aim of addressing the issues of the equestrian sports at a European level. LONGINES EEF SERIES
The Longines EEF Series is a show jumping Nations Cup circuit created by the European Equestrian Federation which replaced the FEI Nations Cup Europe Division 2. Launched last year, but postponed to 2021 due to Covid-19, it is divided into four European regional areas - North, South, Central and West - including the 42 National Federations whichform part of the EEF Group of the FEI. The Longines EEF Series includes a qualifying CSIO3 *, two semi-finals and a final, scheduled at the Warsaw CSIO4*. The winner will be admitted to compete at the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup (that is, Division 1) in 2022.
